Authentication Process
Here at OnlyTime we go through a thorough inspection process.
Let us go through it step by step.
For example we have a Rolex 16622 Yachtmaster.
Step 1. We go through a quick external visual inspection and determine any flaws or damages that it may have.
Step 2. Case is opened to examine movement making sure it is genuine.
Step 3. Case is closed and resealed.
Step 4. Tested on timegrapher. We determine whether the movement would require servicing or not. (Mechanical watches only not quartz). We have different tolerances for different watches as vintage watches may run faster/ slower and better/ worse amplitudes.
Step 5. As determined in Step 1, if watch requires polishing then we will have it polished. As this Rolex Yachtmaster did not require any polishing, please see some examples from our previous watches. We usually do not polish any vintage pieces and pieces under warranty.
For older and vintage pieces some minor parts may have been changed over time such as the crystal, crown and minor parts in the movement from servicing. We try to disclose as much as possible however some parts changed is inevitable for some watches.
If any questions please let us know, we try to deliver the best possibly transparency and product. Hope you enjoy your experience with OnlyTime!
